Using, besides the basic ones, 3x color zones (hue by hue - masked, lightness by saturation, saturation by hue), global tonemap, graduated density (masked), lens correction (manual), vignetting. My Current workflow includes 3 tools: Gimp - For layers/masks and simple cloning. So when darktable was made available in Windows, I was naturally curious. darktable is an open source photography workflow application and raw developer. If Darktable doesnt do CR3, itll be of little interest to me. An Unofficial place for questions, discussions, tutorials, workflows and possible bug discussions about darktable. I see that mine (Canon R5) isnt on it as well. There is no date on a list of supported cameras: camera support. As a hobbyist, I am always excited about new offerings in post processing. Im not a Darktable user, but I intended to try 4.0.0. New Darktable version (3.2.1) is out They have done it again This time, and for the first time we are getting two major upgrades in one year this one, 3.2 (in this case 3.2.1) and 3. There are workarounds, but this kind of stuff is easy in darktable. p.1 1 p.1 1 darktable - A user review and some thoughts for anyone considering a raw editor. One thing I actively miss in DxO is a way of removing a color cast in, say, just the shadows. Otherwise, I hope this picture doesn't nearly look as heavily processed as it is: Darktable has very advanced color tools, including industry-standard color grading tools, LR-style color calibration, a color equalizer, and much more. I need to put Noise reduction in Darktable - Tomas Sobek Photography on my reading list for 2.6. Even though i went through some articles and noise handling, I feel more confident with Rawtherapee. While Darktable offers many learning tools like user forums, video tutorials, and instructional posts, it will take time for beginners to get familiar with. I'll likely be running both side-by side for some time longer, with Rawtherapee for more specialized things like pixel shift or for recovering noisy images. It's my second attempt on moving from Rawtherapee to Dartable - this time more successfully. Thanks for the 2.6.1.notice, it looks like I need to finally a compile a version myself - running Debian stable (Stretch) with the 2.4.4 backport currently, made reasonably fluent by an AMD RX 480, which I bought just for image processing (opencl).
